We are able to deploy medical assistance to the shipowner who encounters medical incidents aboard ship, shore side, or simply follow up after treatment in the port of incident. After initial appraisal, we offer an assisted repatriation service, or simply facilitate the repatriation of the seafarer unassisted.

Whilst medical safety is our priority, we are always mindful of costs, and in all cases attempt to offer you the most cost effective solution to medical issues. All cases, in addition to being assessed by our medical staff, are looked at by our in-house legal team. We seek always to minimise the legal exposure to our principals.
We are guided at all times by our principals, and conform with their wishes, as far as is practically possible.

WE OFFER A BROAD SPECTRUM OF SERVICES
We offer a broad spectrum of services from repatriation to forensic medicine, from medico legal opinions to disembarkation of hostages post piracy. We have multilingual staff, as well as a dedicated Chinese language service cell based in our Singapore Office, who can coordinate matters in China, and also facilitate the repatriation arrangements of Chinese seafarers returning to their own country after accident and illness.
THE PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION
The pre-employment medical examination is an important process in the joining requirements of any seafarer. We work closely with clubs to formulate a custom designed program to suit their needs. At all times the Marine Advisory Medical Service strives to facilitate employment of as many crew as possible, identifying any additional treatment needs the seafarer may have.
